Southwest Airways flights delayed once more, a day after weather-service glitch

Southwest Airways operations have been briefly disrupted Tuesday whereas not less than one main airport advised the provider’s prospects to anticipate delays, a day after a technical drawback with a weather-data provider delayed a whole lot of flights.

The airline did not instantly reply to a request for remark. The Federal Aviation Administration referred inquiries to the airline.

On Monday, 1,541 Southwest flights, about 41% of its schedule, have been delayed in accordance with flight-tracking web site FlightAware.com. Greater than 700 Southwest flights have been delayed on Tuesday, a couple of fifth of the provider’s schedule, in accordance with the location.
